McNabb Gives a Giant Perspective

McNabb's shoulder injury has given him some free time, maybe too much.

Speaking to a local NY reporter, McNabb provided his thoughts on the drama surrounding the New York Giants.

Some of the highlights include:

The Shockey and Burress feuds stir up memories of the Owens saga.

The Giants should worry about teammates taking sides and a divided locker room.

  • The Giants could learn from McNabb's situation and realize the need for strong leadership to avoid a potentially explosive situation.

  • Plaxico Burress is one of the NFL's top wide receivers and deserves to be paid. (Wonder if he feels the same about the Eagles receivers...probably not!)

  • Michael Strahan is a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

  • The best team to handle adversity is the New York Giants (gee, I wonder why he didn't say the Eagles!)
Maybe tomorrow McNabb will provide his thoughts on the Iraq War and the struggling economy.
