Culpepper To The Eagles? Unlikely, But Smart

You have to go all the way back to 2004 to find the last time Donovan McNabb started at least 15 regular season games.

If the injury bug again bites McNabb in 2008 do you feel confident with Kolb or Feeley saving the season?

Kolb has yet to throw a single pass in the NFL, while Feeley managed to throw 8 interceptions in less that three full games of work last year.

With a defense that has a chance to be dominant and Westbrook in his prime, it would be a shame to watch the season be flushed down the toilet on another McNabb injury. Remember the Mike McMahon season?

Just to throw it out about the possibility of the Eagles signing free agent Daunte Culpepper? Though his play has been up and down since leaving the Vikings he is still an above average NFL quarterback. Last year with the anemic Raiders he managed to throw five touchdown passes and rush for three more in only 7 games. Not great, but A LOT better than Feeley.

Again the idea of Culpepper coming to the Eagles is unlikely, but the thought of a capable veteran behind McNabb makes this fan feel better. Kolb might be OK for a few quarters or even a game or two. But anything beyond that and it would be 2005 all over again.

who cares about Culpepper and who cares about the Eagles? They are done, has been that never really been? How many rings did they get during the run they had? ZERO? hahahaha stupid philly fans think that they are going to do something this year. Give me a break, they suck and so do all Eagle fans.
