Earlier in the week the Sporting News had ranked Brian Westbrook as the number two back in the league. Well USA Today also feels that Westbrook is an elite running back, placing him number three overall in the NFL.Again LaDainian Tomlinson was the top rated back. This time Adrian Peterson claimed the number two spot. Though Peterson is a top talent, I think he needs to show durability and success for more than a single season before being anointed one of the best.
All reviews point to Westbrook being one of the best. Westbrook knows it, Eagle fans know it, now lets see if Eagles management changes their stance and rewards Westbrook's talent and value to the club.
