Falsifying the McNabb Myths

I'm not a McNabb hater. I'm not a McNabb lover. I fall right in the middle. The man has done wonders for the franchise, but at times I wish he could do more.

When do I feel that #5 could do more? How about in crunch time...end of the halves, the 4th quarter, and when the Eagles are trailing. Well at quick look at the 2008 numbers tells me that my wish has been granted and I need to shut my trap.
  • In the last 2 minutes of a half (1st and 2nd): McNabb completed 71% of his passes, passed for 12 first downs, thrown one interception, and has a QB Rating of 106.4
  • In the 4th Quarter: McNabb completed 66% of his passes, passed for 24 first downs, thrown 0 interceptions, and has a QB Rating of 94.8
  • When the Eagles are Trailing by 1-8 points: McNabb completed 65% of his passes, passed for 11 first downs, thrown one interception, and has a QB Rating of 113.5
  • Rushing: 2nd half of games has 56 total yards, 1st half of games has 30 total yards

So everyone that questions or thinks that McNabb isn't clutch, what's your argument now? And don't give me vomit as your answer.

Garbage yards against prevent D.

Zero points on board when they get close.

Nuff' said.
