Sometimes we are quick to criticize. And why not, it's a lot easier and a lot more fun to go with the masses. But to be fair, we still have to point out the positives. And it may be hard to believe, but the Eagles Offensive Line did leave Sunday's game with reason to give themselves the old "pat on the back."
The short yardage and running woes took the spotlight on Sunday night. But what got overshadowed was the fact that the Eagles OL did not allow McNabb to be sacked. Zero sacks allowed. Hell, I don't even remember McNabb be touched in the pocket. This is quite a feat considering the Giants entered the game #2 in the NFL in QB sacks.
Go figure, a day after venting about what the Eagles did wrong, there are actually some positives to highlight. Now if we could only get the OL to be a stout in their run blocking!
