When the opportunity presents itself you gotta attack, get a few shots in on the hated Cowboys. Who knows, after this weekend the Eagles could also be sporting a 5-4 record. But as of today, the Cowboys are sitting alone in the basement of the NFC East. And as an Eagles fan you just wonder what could have been had McNabb been able to hand the ball off cleanly to B-West in their early season Monday night match-up?!?
A clean hand-off wouldn't of guaranteed a W, but it would of made it a strong possibility. The 6-2 record for the Eagles would of been nice, but of greater significance would of been the Cowboys most likely carrying a 4-5 record into their bye week.
The Cowboys 2008 season would of been all but done with 5 losses in nine weeks. Just to get into the playoffs this year I am thinking it may take 11 wins in the NFC. That would of meant the Cowboys needing to go 7-1 record in the second half...even with a healthy Romo...not happening!
You can't go back and replay things now. Our attention should now be focused on the Giants and this new opportunity to finally get this season rolling to our high expectations. Regarding the Cowboys, there is still that December 28th game to ruin their season, keep them out of the playoffs!
