Needing the Close One...

Am I disappointed that the Vikings' game wasn't a Dallas-style blowout? Not in the slightest. The game was a slug fest between two top defenses. Luckily for us Eagles' fans, we had McNabb and not Jackson as our QB.

In my opinion, yesterday's tough, hard fought win was probably the best thing that could have happened to the Eagles. I honestly would have been more worried had the Eagles also taken the Vikings to the woodshed.

Back to back blowouts is not what this team needed heading into the Giants' game. Yesterday's close game keeps the team focused, keeps them level-headed. Leaving Minnesota the team knows there is room for improvement. You cannot turn the ball over or settle for FGs against the G-Men and expect a trip to the NFC Championship game.

My confidence remains high. The G-Men are great but the Eagles were 2 botched short yardage plays from sweeping the season series from them.
